I'd like to be mentioned as a Democrat, when my time comes.

Nice Article Smiley.  Although, I don't have any ties to Pine Bluff.  I'll most likely live in Little Rock after I graduate college.

Would people please jst get off my back on the stuff I write. I'm doing this all alone. Just be happy I continued this, because it was dead for a while.

So I have got every right to write down whatever the heck I want about anyone who wants to be in this story. Smiley
Exactly, and you're a good man for doing this. Smiley

Who knows, in 27 years, Alcon may be a socialist and Jake might be a communist.
I sure as hell won't be a libertarian, though.  You can count on that.

If the great people of New Hampshire want an outsider; someone who will fight for the people and not the big special interests, they would be wise to vote for me.

Why would Preston do well at all in New Hampshire? He's campaigning as the uber-populist, when New Hampshire is an uber-libertarian state. There are plenty of outsiders in the race, Nym might be upset, but Preston shouldn't be anywhere near the one to do it. NH strikes me as Hughento territory.
How exactly am I an uber-populist?

Well I'd certainly remove the 'uber', but you definitely a populist, whereas NH is generally a libertarian state.

That said, Bill Clinton didn't win it in 1992, but went on to win anyway.  So a defeat for you here doesn't rule you out. Wink
Bill Clinton certainly came close, though.  He ran on a populist message.  Now, that doesn't mean rabidly advocating big government, that's not what populism is about.  Populism is about creating a government that works for the People.

I must say I'm dissapointed that I didn't receive the endorsement of the esteemed chairman Al Realpolitik, but I do believe his supporters will turn to me, a true fighter for the people.

As far as Mini-Tuesday I'm focusing on South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, plus New Mexico and Arizona (particularly the hispanic population) to a lesser extent.

It seems the establishment is lining up heavily on the side of Nym.  I expected it to happen, none the less.  The narrow losses in Virginia and Missouri are somewhat dissapointing, but I will press on, at least until after the Arkansas primary.  I am still very suprised about Virginia.  I thought I would take much of the rural areas, plus some of the Urban, with Gustaf taking much of suburban areas leaving Nym without much of a base.

What is the primary schedule, PBrunsel?

In the next round I will fight for West Virginia (#1, which I expect to win), Oklahoma and Ohio most strongly.  Look to me also courting the labor vote, and if not the AFL-CIO because of Al, then alternative groups.  I will focus on raising the minimum wage, urban and rural economic developement, fair trade, and better healthcare and universal coverage.  I will also put a bit of money and effort into Maryland and Indiana.

Oh wow, I didn't know this was comming up so soon or I would have posted a strategy.  I would have hoped to do better in Wisconsin (working class mining and agricultural areas) and Michigan (working-class factory workers, but I guess I didn't get my name out well enough in these primaries, though I would have thought I'd have enough media attention by now to accomplish that.

Regardless, I'm going to keep running, unless Nym offers me a VP spot (right before the southern primaries or something).  But if he doesn't, I will be running through to the end.

Kramer will fight for the South like mad.  I will run a pro-South campaign to a degree like StatesRights, but I will also compete for and, contrary to what is perhaps the con. wisdom, do well among minorities.

Setting up for a States/Kramer independent ticket?  Hmm, I wonder.

Ok, now let's see the Democrats!  I'm focusing a large amount of resources on California, targeting working class voters, rural voters, middle class families, and especially hispanics.  That kind of coalition certainly should earn me a healthy amount of delegates, though I don't expect to outright win.

In Minnesota, I will also put in a lot of effort in much of the same strategy.  Expect me to also put some effort in Kansas and Nebraska, the home state of Bryan.  Those two places I expect to win, and plan to talk about my mainstream social beliefs and religious values, playing up farm and rural issues to rural voters (more aid to family farms, etc.), as well as the usual stuff.
