My loyalty is always to the country as a whole rather than to any single state or region. And, as Governor of the Pacific and a loyal citizen of Atlasia, I will take what ever actions are needed to protect the Republic.

I have always respected StatesRights as a fellow citizen of this country but I do advise him to stand down and not to cause uneeded discord, death, and destruction.

Depends on who starts it. If the Federal Government invades Dixie, my loyalties would be different than if States starts the fighting.

I will always remain loyal to the Republic of Atlasia, and that encompasses all states and regions.

I strongly urge a peaceful and reconciliatory tone during these troubled times.  I will remain completely neutral during all discussions on this subject, and refuse to engage in any talk of civil war.

However, that does not by any means imply that I will sit back and watch things take their course.  If events take a turn for the worse, I will do whatever is within my means as Governor of the Mideast Region to protect fellow citizens from harm.

If my region insists on supporting the right of the state to limit the personal freedoms protected by Atlasia, I most definitely will side with that government that seeks to protect my freedoms over the one that wants to take them away. Atlasia, forever!

What possible reason would the Republic have to invade the Southeast if the Southeast complies in full with the Court's ruling? The only way this keeps going is if the Southeast wants it to.

they don't exist in that they haven't done anything yet. If the SE attacks or tries to seize Virginia, then actions will start.

If there is a war, I will be on the side of Atlasia, because:
1. Gay marriage isn’t something to start a war (and kill people) over.
2. StatesRights never even tried an amendment.
3. The courts ruled against him; it should stop with that.
4. My loyalty is to my Country and my Region, both of which are on the other side.
5. My brother’s in the Southeast Wink
