I don't get why SJWs get so much flack when these people exist. The absolute worst and essentially a hate group.

That's not to say their mirror image in the modern SJW movement isn't bad, though. At the end of the day, they're all awful liberals or faux leftists more interested in debating how best to 'decolonize' Yoga than they are interested in smashing sexual and racial repression, which is of course utterly impossible within their narrow, identity politics framework.

I'd never heard of these people before, and they seem like nutjobs, although I have to admit that at least on a cursory level the point that transgender people don't have the fundamental experience of growing up a woman seems interesting. Either way, I don't have any horse in this race on either 'side' so I voted HP.

There is a good New Yorker article on this.  There is something beneath the really stupid, mean argument that they make that I understand to a point.  But, anyone who is mean to transgender people, I don't like that at all.  Transgender people have it hard enough.

And, the larger point is this.  Anyone who is super, super into being "a woman", a "man", a "black person", a "Jew," a "gay" they're awful.  Just try to be a good person first.  It's true that you need to pay attention to your identity when mainstream culture minimalizes and disparages it.  And, it's easy for straight white men to complain about "identity politics."  When your identity is the head honcho, you have nothing to complain about and it's hard to understand why people need to stake a claim and be proud of who they are. 

But, at the same time, if/once you feel good about yourself, you give it a rest and you don't care that much about what dumb people think about you.  These identity warriors really don't feel good about themselves deep in their heart so they need to fight everyone else and go to battle to convince everyone else to respect and love them.  They need to get everyone to love and respect their identity because they don't love and respect themselves.
