Hillary Clinton and democrats are gearing up to combat GOP led voter suppression initiatives in several swing states like Ohio, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada and Virginia as well as several other states. Some observers are saying that democrats are unlikely to succeed in time for the 2016 election.

But how big a difference will the voter suppression initiatives make? Has anybody seen any serious calculations regarding this issue?

Voter Suppression efforts? I think many more people are just likely to stay home, Clinton and the GOP field are just not energizing the electorate like President Obama or Gov. Sarah Palin did in 2008.

It's looking like North Carolina is going to be the only big GOP win for voter suppression.   Other than that the counter measures are proving to be too much for their legislation to keep people out of the booths.
