He defied the AG and issued an executive order that reversed a Department of Child Safety's decision to ban gay couples from adopting. http://www.edgeboston.com/news/news//176027/arizona_governor_gives_ok_to_gay_adoptions. This plus his veto of the edited animal cruelty bill and his veto of the bill that would block ID of police after shootings make him seem a lot less hackish than I expected him to be.
