7th PM of Alberta, staunch baptist and with an intriguing solution to the Depression.

Personally, I feel he leans FF although some of the shenanigans of '37 are pretty poor?

I like him because he was a socon, but the lefties often don't give him due credit. Social Credit started as a fiscally left, socially right party and only gradually became fiscally conservative under Ernest Manning.

I agree that Aberhart is not as right-wing as he is portrayed. Nonetheless, eugenics alone makes him a horrid HP.

Lean FF despite eugenics and the numbering of children.

I can't believe all the FF's. Is populist rhetoric that important?

He is definitely a Canadian Huey Long. I wonder how the original fiscally left wing and socially right wing Social Credits would vote today.
