To: President of the Republic of Atlasia

- States forming the Confederation of Atlasian States will remain part of the Union, as an autonomous region
- The federal government of Atlasia will continue to bear a sole responsibility for defense, foreign affairs, national security and regulating inter-state and inter-regional commerce
- The sovereign states, forming the Confederation, will bear a sole responsibility for their domestic affairs

Those principles are non negotiable for us. We are extending our hand toward the Union.

Signed on behalf of the Council:
Reverend Dr. Jeffrey Brown of Oklahoma
Chairman of the Confederate Council

Opposed - the regions affected should be given more powers though.

As a former President of our beloved Republic, I'd like to say that they can go to hell.

We don't negotiate with terrorists.

Precisely. The Bore Administration unequivocally rejects this offer.

The Federal Government shall have 24 hours to reconsider this unfortunate and positively dangerous (to itself) response.

I strongly support the federal government in this endeavor. The Confederation are terrorists, plain and simple.

THE CONFEDERATION OF ATLASIAN STATES IS MERELY TRYING TO ENSURE THE STATES' RIGHTS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF OUR UNION. THAT'S NOT TERRORISM - THAT'S SIMPLY A COMMON SENSE. WE WILL NOT RESTORE TO VIOLENT MEANS UNLESS IN SELF-DEFENSE

We have to be careful in immediately shunning the terrorists. The Troubles in Northern Ireland only ended when the UK Government got the terrorists around the negotiation table.

"Give us what we want or else" doesn't sound like an extended hand to me.

ah well we've got 25 years of civil war to go until that happens.

Although another charismatic Mr Blair did manage to sort out Northern Ireland

As a guy that wanted to negotiate himself one time (with real people though), I can only give one piece of advice to the president: don't do it. Just absolutely don't. Tongue

Due to suspicious death of Chairman Brown, all negotiations will be frozen until the federal government will conduct a fair investigation into possible outside involvment.
