It would appear that an invalid vote has been cast in the North East region.

I don't see any vote that I would regard invalid - which vote do you think is invalid?

He's given a clear indication of how he's voting, but I guess the Chief Judicial Officer will decide if it's valid or not.

Campaigning in the voting booth = automatic voiding of a vote. It's the law.

Considering that Al is the Attorney General he does have some interest in doing so.

Al has never concerned himself with it being a problem to overreach into regional matters.

There have been instances where commentary as it were on candidates were allowed to slide and certainly that could be considered campaigning in a strict interpretation. I wouldn't advise the posting of anything other than a vote in any booth, but at the same time RGN shouldn't be so quick to concede to Al's point either.

We are projecting that the Electoral Reform Amendment has now passed in the Northeast, with voting having ended earlier this hour.

A comment stating my view is hardly an example of executive overreach.

To pass, the amendment needs the support of 4 regions.

The amendment has passed in the Northeast and in the Pacific.
The amendment has failed in the Mideast.

The Southern Legislature is not voting and the polls will close at 11 PM in the Midwest. At this hour, if I'm not wrong, the Amendment is failing in the Midwest by a vote of 10-12.

I very much want this to pass, obviously, but the shear closeness of the vote throughout the country speaks well for political debate and participation.
