It's actually issue by issue as well as overall.

Yes, I am apparently the uber moderate hero - right smack dab in the middle, and managing to side with both Dems and Pubs on education issues (I guess because I strongly favor the Common Core (yes, I know, some Dems hate the Common Core too – they are all wrong), but don’t favor higher taxes to lower interest rates on student loans – a program much abused actually which needs major surgery). On abortion, I chose to write my own little essay, no doubt screwing up the test software.  Anyway, if you want to join the fun, you can take the test here.

I am considered left wing.

My regions of highest agreement are the Boston metro and the NoCal coast.

My region of highest disagreement is the entire southeastern United States.

I know, I know, it's an online political identification quiz, but these are some of the most bizarre results I've ever scored: "You side with the Constitution Party most on foreign policy issues." What? "You side with the Constitution Party and the Conservatives on environmental issues." (Which are also somehow 'less' important to me?) Huh?

There is a button to rank the importance of the issue for each question. I assume that is what the software determines what is most important to you. My results were kind of bizarre too really, saying that I had a "Libertarian" approach to healthcare. Really? Just because I have issues with the way the ACA is structured?

So did I. I assume they don't mean the British Tories, but maybe they do.

I think they just wanted another "right" party to contrast the Socialists.

The Constitution Party is pretty dovish.  Chuck Baldwin, their 2008 nominee was outspoken on those issues.

Libertarians - 74% - Immigration, domestic policy, healthcare, social issues
Republicans - 67% - Environmental, Foreign Policy
Conservative - 66% - Environmental, Foreign Policy
Green - 62% - Social, Immigration, Healthcare
Democrats - 61% - Healthcare

Neolibralism continues to confound and stupify the purveyors of conventional wisdom and feudal politics.

It seems like the general trend among liberal Democrats on the forum is that our preferred policies fit better with the Green Party.

Left-Wing
Your political beliefs would be considered strongly Left-Wing on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote social and economic equality

The area with the strongest support for my views was the Pacific Coast, the Southeast was the worst
