Obama gets it wrong again. Property loss, jobs and many lives altered because of his false narrative of vengeance.

Not that you have any sense to comprehend this, but even if this was true, the police are supposed to make sure that those they take into custody received medical attention if they need it. They have to administer assistance to detainees that attempt suicide, it's policy.

With that said, it's really odd that an unnamed inmate just happens to produce a story like that and it's even odder to believe that one could actually sever their own spinal cord so easily.

And lastly, you lost to Obama twice, so get over it. Blaming him for everything will not change that fact, and you are only making yourself look ridiculous by constantly blaming him for every single thing that happens.

No, I will not cede. Yes, Obama won an election twice, good for him; bad, very bad for the majority who live in the wake of his arrogance and his incitement of the public to bolster his non-American way of civility.
As to your rules of engagement requirements for lawlessness, there are a standards for sure, to follow them to the letter in a state of civil war is the wishful thinking of one absent of reality and the profitability for lawyers.

you know when the police shamelessly make up bullshit like this (unnamed prisoner who couldn't even see the guy totally thinks he was trying to injure himself, based on _____) it's hard to be sympathetic with the ones getting their skulls smashed by thrown bricks.

I'm not buying it. There are all kinds of rewards for an inmate cooperating with the police on issues like this. It seems sketchy to me.

This was tweeted by Jayne Miller, an investigative reporter from Baltimore's WBAL-TV on April 23.

Her reporting then and now contradicts this Washington Post story. Its pretty clear that these are lies leaked by the police. Gray banging himself against the walls of the vehicle would not have the force necessary to serve his spine or crush his own larynx.

No chance of The Washington Post retracting the story though. I guess we know whose side the so called liberal press is on.

It is true, the liberal press does (eventually) retract "stories" occasionally.  Usually it takes months though.

You really need a video for the truth to come out, otherwise most accept the police story. The Cleveland police got busted hardcore for lying about Tamir Rice's murder.

No, it isn't. We don't know this was a police fabrication.  Could be the prisoner is just not the most reliable witness. Even if there's some truth to it, as was mentioned even if so there was negligence or otherwise a severe failure in protecting Freddie Gray.  It doesn't look good for the police involved in any case - when someone dies in your custody, however it happens, that is a major problem.  There will be some legal ramifications here for this incident, though it might take a while.

It's at least premature to be citing this report, from an unnamed source who couldn't see Freddie Gray, and whose account is contradicted by other reporting, as a fact.

This isn't a fact. This is an extremely suspicious report.

What "competent economic platform"? We must not be thinking of the same Republican party here.

The representatives you elect raise federal income taxes, which drains money out of your state, then they get their asses kicked by battling factions in Congress, which means the money never returns to New York.

You actively destroy where you live. Even if Republicans actively destroyed where you lived with slightly less vigor, they would be competent by comparison.

My state has a severe deficit in terms of money paid vs money returned, but in all fairness we don't really need the money as much as some hellhole like Mississippi.

I'm not a lawyer, but I have a hard time seeing this stand up as valid corroboration of anything in an investigation. In this case, just hearing something and not seeing it is pretty much unreliable, and should not be admissible.

BPD realizes they only need the slimmest excuse for racists AKA conservatives to cling to, then hope one of them makes it onto the jury. I honestly didn't expect "He snapped his own spine" to be the excuse the BPD would go with, but it'll do.

Any sane judge would throw out the testimony in pre-trial motions.

WJLA reports that law enforcement sources say that Gray died as a result of a head injury during the ride, noting that his head wound matches a bolt in the back of the van.

And the prisoner who was in the van with Freddie Gray, from the story in the OP, has come forward and says that the police are twisting his words, and that he doesn't believe Gray injured himself.

Mosby pretty much shut down any legitimacy in this report.
