Frank OBannon were the one Dem that didnt raise the Cigarette tax or alcoholic tax. Evan Bayh supported Clinton's lawsuit against Tobacco farmers; which helped pushed him out the door in Senate.
The average voter doesn't care about Tobacco or Alcohol Taxes.
You mean the average pretty little spoiled white brat from the suburbs doesn't care. When you work two or three jobs, are deep in debt, and live in a hotel -- an apartment if you're one of the lucky ones -- and the highlight of your day is bumming a cigarette in the parking lot during your lunch break, you care immensely.
