I think that this will hurt the eventual nominee.
Why would Kasich entering hurt Kasich?
Kasich isn't going to be the nominee.

.  Democrats would do well not to dismiss every Republican challenger as clowns who have no chance.

That is what the left does. It is sort of like Marx's Theory of History. It has to happen

The notion that Kasich is either Bush 2.0 or a Rino is ridiculous.

If anything he is merely talking the talk after a close read of the exit polls in 2012. He is far more fiscally conservative then Bush for one thing. I would point out that even Rand Paul is talking the same way, "not a dime from welfare, until all the corporate welfare is cut".

The loss in 2012, and more importantly the losses in the Midwest (including Ohio) came from Romney's lack of appeal to working class voters.

No surprise. Would vote for him except he'll probably be out of the race before Ohio.

Are there any GOP candidates who would persuade you to vote for Hillary if they were nominated?

His campaign is going to have about as much of an impact as Tim Pawlenty's did.

He's a weak candidate who may not make it to Iowa.  He'd also get crushed in the GE if he somehow got nominated, btw.
Junk prediction. Throw this in the trash.

Of all the guys running, he's the one that looks like a President the most. IMO.

I think he'll get my endorsement given Walker's recent troubles in his home state.

Very happy about this. Smiley
