Sheila Jackson Lee. She thinks that Congress should intervene in the naming of Hurricanes, since not enough have African-American sounding names. I suggest that every hurricane be named after Sheila Jackson Lee, since SHE is a natural disaster.

I will say Nancy Pelosi. She seems to abhor Republicans and anything conservative.

Kucinich is a nut. His campaign website was always good for the chuckles.
What does Ms. Lee want, Hurricane Lafawnduh, Hurricane Jerome?

Of the names mentioned on the board, I would say Dennis Kucinich. I think Cleveland's Boy Mayor is way out of touch with the main stream America. He's way too far left that he can't even see the right or the center for that matter.

Well, its certainly not Pelosi. She pretty liberal, but she certainly isn't a "nut". She
might
be the
fifth
"nuttiest" Democrat in the California delegation, after Diane Watson, Pete Stark, Bob Filner, and Maxine Waters.
I'd also put McDermott and Barney Frank on this list well before her. Or how about Jose Serrano, who endorsed Al Sharpton for President and said he admires Fidel Castro?

I have met Sheila Jackson Lee in person a number of times, and she is exactly the nut that she appears to be everywhere else.
I vote for her.

How is McDermott a nut. To my knowledge he's done nothing to deserve to be called a nut.

Lets see, he went to Baghdad as we were heading towards war, giving aid and comfort to Sadaam and his thugs.

The equivalent of a Republican traveling to Nazi Germany in 1941 and decrying the "unjust, undeclared, and unlawfull war in the Atlantic". In other words, McDermott is no better than Gorgeous George who Labour at least had the honour to expel.

I voted for Hurricane Lee. She has made some rather inexplicable remarks, such as "I came here as a slave, and I deserve to vote," and "You don't understand. I am a queen, and I demand to be treated like a queen."

How does she have a fair point? If I was black, my main concern would not be whether or not hurricanes had "African-American sounding names". If I was impoverished, I would not be comforted by the knowledge that I'm about to be hit by Hurricane Mbeki.
