Any interest in a 1972 Election Game?

Having read "Fear and Loathing in the Campaign Trail 72'" a few days ago I was struck at how fascinating the 1972 was, and searching through the forum I was surprised to see that despite having a good number of election games we seemed to lack games from the 60's and the 70's, which I believe have a lot of potential.

So since the 2016 Game seems to be paused I came up with the idea of trying to do a 72 Game myself (despite not having as much knowledge as previous GM's), since with the primary system being new there gameplay could be similar to other games while introducing new elements (it might even be an Alt-History scenario with Nixon dead or something like that).

But of course the main question stands, would there be any interest for such a game?
