Uh, yeah, anyone who doesn't think looting is at least part of the answer is drinking the Flavor Aid.

Now, it certainly isn't the major issue, but people here wanted to loot. That CVS was not a police office. That Best Buy wasn't a police office. That check chasing store wasn't a police office.

I've heard that the cops themselves have said that the looters were not the original protestors, and that they may have been from outside the neighborhood that was looted.
Yeah, looters making use of protesters as cover has a long tradition unfortunately.
