A shame. Terrible news.

Excalibur was always a favorite of mine too, Yank. Funny, I see stuff as an adult I didn't see as a kid and vice versa in that. Based on the Morte D'Arthur, completed in the 1470s.

The Lion In Winter is excellent, but Nigel Terry actually plays John, youngest son of Henry II, and he does a good job playing John as cowardly and unscrupulous. Someone named Nigel Stock actually plays the Marshal. Just a small correction. Tongue Anyway, it is a wonderful, well acted drama from back when they made those kind of movies.
