Of the (serious) candidates expected to make a run/already announced for 2016.

Best to Worst:

1. Bernie Sanders
2. Hillary Clinton
3. Martin O'Malley
4. Rand Paul
5. Jim Webb
6. Chris Christie
7. Marco Rubio
8. John Kasich
9. Lincoln Chafee
10. Jeb Bush
11. Ben Carson
12. Carly Fiorina
13. Scott Walker
14. Mike Huckabee
15. Rick Santorum
16. Lindsey Graham
17. Ted Cruz

I didn't include people I don't think will run, don't consider serious, or don't know enough about to form an opinion such as Trump, Jindal, or Pataki.

13, 7, 1.

If I cant get Walker or Rubio, Ill take Clinton. I am looking for who will be best for the GOP. And Clinton would be very good for the GOP. By 2022, I see 55-60 GOP Senators, 250+ House members, 35-40 governors and 75% of state houses.

Bush is the worst for the GOP.

1.) Clinton (with O'Malley as her VP)
2.) Clinton (with someone else as her VP)
3.) O'Malley
4.) Sanders
5.) Biden
6.) Chaffee
7.) Webb
8.) Kasich
9.) Bush (for the sheer fact that Democrats would win big in 2020 if he was elected)
10.) Paul
11.) Who the hell cares at this point? Tongue

For me it would probably look something like:

1. Hillary Clinton
2. Bernie Sanders
3. Martin O'Malley
4./5. Jim Webb/Lincoln Chafee
6. John Kasich
7. Jeb Bush
8. Rand Paul
9. Marco Rubio
10. Chris Christie
(Rick Snyder)
11. Scott Walker
12. Mike Huckabee
13. Lindsey Graham
(Rick Perry)
14. Carly Fiorina
15. Ted Cruz
16. Ben Carson
(Donald Trump)
17. Rick Santorum

Though most of the Republican choices would be absolutely horrific. Especially so the last four-five on my list.

1a. Rand Paul (my support of his dad extends to him)
1b. Ted Cruz (brilliant, conservatarian, Hispanic, Evangelical if Rand wasn't running I'd be actively supporting him)
2. Scott Walker (solid executive experience standing for conservative ideas in his state against serious odds and winning)
3. Carly Fiorina
4. Dr. Benjamin Carson (why can't we have two medical Drs be on the list. Solid on religious liberty but meh on 2nd Amendment)
5. Marco Rubio (see Ted Cruz minus NSA and immigration negatives)

I haven't really considered that any of the Republicans might be preferable to each other.  Most of them are politicians I'm familiar enough with to strongly dislike their accomplishments and/or goals.

Really tough to say.

1. Marco Rubio
2. Chris Christie
3. Mike Huckabee
4. Jeb Bush
5. Scott Walker
6. Rick Santorum

To be honest, if I had to vote today, I would be genuinely undecided. I like all six of those guys, and I think Rubio, Christie, Bush and Huckabee are especially electable. I worry about the electability of Scott Walker the most. Huckabee was my #2 choice in 2008 and would have been my #1 in 2012 had he ran. I voted for Santorum in the 2012 primary.

Something tells me we should nominate Marco Rubio. He really is a dynamic candidate and the GOP never goes for dynamic. Perhaps we should try. If we do and we still lose, well the 2018 elections will make Hillary and her administration the only Democrats left in America Tongue

He deserves the Republican nomination so that the Tea Partiers can shut up and quite whining about how they need a true conservative. Especially the xenophobic crowd that only cares about making America plurality white christian males.

Wouldn't that make them whine more?

If you wanted to stop the conversation about nominating a true conservative, nominate Ted Cruz or Ben Carson.

I'm curious, what makes you rank Fiorina so high?

Heard both interviews with Glenn Beck. She could easily fall below Rubio/Carson quite easily. She kinda gets some slack because of not being a politico but from business. She would have to be as constitutionalist as Rand or Ted to even merit surpassing either.
