Neo-Nazis always use Stalin to defend Hitler, saying he was way worse. Agree or disagree?

Targeted genocide of minorities is, in my opinion, worse than just killing people because they think differently. Though in the end they're both genocidal tyrants that should have been killed off in the 20s.

You could make an arguement that Stalin was worse then Hitler but it really is irrelevant, both were incomprehensibly evil  and I would say they were equally bad.

Hitler easily. The thing people forget is that the only reason Stalin technically has a higher body count is because Hitler lost the war. Hitler's ambitions would've put anything Stalin did to shame and then some.

Hitler was more dangerous and did more damage on a global scale in a shorter period of time, I'd say. Though this isn't a competition.

It's interesting how this question is phrased, though, considering that Hitler's rule was so personalistic anyway - whereas Stalin was more of a systematic bureaucratic mastermind. On the other hand, Stalin's Purges were not only horrific, but ended up hurting him during WWII. Killing off your rivals is one thing, but killing most of the military leadership just seems totally counter-productive.

Also the number of people whose killing was directly attributable to Stalin is pretty hard to estimate, especially considering how many Soviet citizens were killed during WWII.

But this is beside the point...I don't think you can quantify evil so easily. It's kind of a pointless exercise, tbh.

Stalin.

Had Hitler not attacked, Stalin was going to attack. He targeted the jews, the minorities too. He caused much more deaths than Hitler and at least, Hitler did improve the german economy. Stalin destroyed it in 1929

Anyone voting Hitler just doesn't know Stalin did to his own country. I voted both were equally bad.

Because Hitler lost the war. Hitler's intent would've dwarfed anything Stalin did.

This, but I sincerely wish Churchill had just shot Stalin at Potsdam.

Does Stalin still have a higher body count if all the WWII deaths in the European theater are attributed to Hitler?

They're both through a level beyond which comparison is kind of meaningless, but I think that if one autistically insisted on it, a case could be made for either.
