Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Fun fact: One of my friends is a lesbian UKIP supporter. (She's been bullish about their chances. She'll be very disappointed.)

Farage is going to get really, really wasted tonight, because he's most probably going down per what I have read (along apparently with not liking to spend too much of his day sober). He might show up on the candidate cattle call for the results barely able to stand up (since apparently they know the score some time prior to that).

Houghton and Sunderland South will be the first seat and it's aiming to beat it's record of declaring 42 minutes after polls close. So 10:40 will be around the first result, though obviously it's a safe labour seat.

PREDICTION: Red Ed parks a Soviet tank battalion in front of Buckingham Palace, has the royal family shot point blank, burns down the palace, declares himself Premier of the Workers' Commonwealth of Great Britain

I just went for a short walk, and saw several separate groups of Labour GOTV workers.  I thought I overheard one of them saying they'd got a 65% turnout in the student accommodation in Hallam.

The Daily Telegraph (or maybe the rag) did chat about a coup plot actually, with the sans culottes planning to take to the streets if Red Ed was kept out.

Yeah, that's lame. They already did that last year. Come up with a new 3d virtual gimmick BBC!
