The Sunderland counters proved their money's worth yet again.  It's no coincidence: they do this all the time even in local polls.

Now let's get a result somewhere other than Sunderland.

What is the minus for the LD's? Your equation is meaningless without it.

Labour's probably going to go back to soft-focus third way bullsh[Inks] after this, aren't they?

In this time of electoral confusion I think we know the only person who can bring some sanity to this situation

Swings in the Sunderland seats smaller than the Exit Poll.

Are UK exit polls just as random and inaccurate as U.S. ones?

I mean Labour can still come out on top right?

Maybe in another 50 years the Liberal Democrats under a new name can make another bid for relevance, only to go into coalition with the Tories again.

They were hardly some radical alternative before (I find the differences between Labour and the Tories far less than between the Pubs and the Dems myself in the US at the moment). But if they got Scotland off their back, they will do just fine doing what they are doing. Scotland has crossed the Rubicon it seems to me.

Maybe they could go back to being the Liberals... no, even better - bring back the SDP!

With results like this, a Scottish Unioinist Party is in order Smiley

Well, rumours have been (such as they are) that the Tories are doing especially well in the East Midlands.

The prediction is for the Tories to do well in the East Midlands (which is what would be giving them Derby North and Gedling).

Lib Dem vote change now subsumed under "Others".
