Jamie Reed has probably earned himself a small bit in the history books, that's for sure. I would not be surprised if he gets de-selected.

Tom Watson has said that there's got to a debate in the party over Trident and NATO...

Also, the Survation snap poll does not make for good reading.

I could see Trident being voted against at Conference-I think it's a colossus waste of money and I'm not sure we need it, but to be a hack it's one of the things we support for the symbolism

Right-dominated CLP so I doubt that.

Lord Falconer has had a meeting with Corbyn today, it would seem.

Strange about Lord Falconer, considering he's a Blairite and prominent Burnham supporter unless it's part of some sort of outreach where he'll play an informal role

Burnham gets Home Secretary, Benn stays at Foreign as expected, Heidi Alexander gets Health, Falconer gets Justice. Still no announcement on Chancellor.

Coaker at Northern Ireland, Murray at Scotland (shock!).

Most of the people above are on the Right, are they not?

Very surprising Cabinet, and in a good way.

Heidi Alexander at health is a very good scope, a surprise but she lead the campaign to save Lewisham Hospital. Falconer at Justice is just as much a shock-Chukka deserves praise for actually meeting and not just quitting yesterday even if it was symbolic.

To be a cynic though-Corbyn was suppose to be a 'new type of politics'-the hard left get their first Cabinet and the first appointments all look rather well Milibandist

What if a bunch of Labourites hopped ship and took over the dying LibDems?

Tried it in 1981, and it failed.

The Lib Dems are the only party currently worse than Labour-people laugh at us but they don't even bother to think about the Lib Dems.

They're hated for not only doing awful things in Government, but for running as a left wing alternative in 2010-plus being lead by a Religious social conservative doesn't help them. I honestly haven't heard anything from them in the last month.

Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury Seema Malhotra, Shadow Business Secretary Angela Eagle (who was the other contender for Chancellor).

Why do we have an all male team?

And yes, he's the Dianne Abbott/George Galloway/Red Ken lefty-rather than the Corbyn/Skinner type

I don't think I've ever seen an election follow the "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win" script to a tee like this one has before..

Abbott - surprised she didn't get a slightly more senior role tbh.

Racism against white people is certainly a pressing problem in Britain.

I'm surprised that Angela Eagle isn't Shadow Chancellor.
