Here's what a bunch or rural whites are doing in the itsy-bitsy county seat (population 6,400), of "rural" Columbia County, NY, in a parade which is one of the premier events of the year in the county, with politicians all in attendance. I and my partner will be in the parade this year. The Pub Mayor officiates sometimes at gay weddings. It can get a bit more complicated.
