From the explanation on Wikipedia they seem okay in theory, but in actual policy not so great. Mild FP, I s'pose...

Al has debunked the article before which is clearly written by one of them. They are a TERRIBLE party. I have a higher opinion of PASOK and Francois Hollande.

Never trust a non-American political party's Wikipedia page, they are inevitably fluffy bull.

There are a lot of good LibDems. Mostly the ones who were knocked out in the election or retired. Charles Kennedy was good, Ming Campbell was good, Simon Hughes was good, Andrew George was good, Bob Russell was good... There were plenty of good to balance out the bad ones like Clegg and his cronies like Alexander and Mark Hunter.

You strike me as more of a Tory, honestly. Tongue Though, perhaps one less enthused by Thatcherism and rather horrified by UKIP.

I'm surprised too. I recall Indy saying something about being willing to vote for the "right kind" of Republican, so I figured he'd be quite happy with Canada/Britain's right wing parties.

Michael Foot also thought they had the best party theme song (The Land) compared with Labour's The Red Flag and Land of Hope and Glory for the Tories.
