A true hero, that's for sure.

Apparently the Tories cutting disability living allowance. What a surprise.

It was a good little speech. Though if there's one thing Labour hate, it's other people telling them to be 'more Labour'.

People tend not to respond well to arguments made in bad faith, no. I have no idea why.

I think the self deception is probably found amongst the party she was addressing.

Is it me or are the cabinet trolling BoJo? first Osborne started dissing his airport plans, now May says the Met is not allowed to play with its new expensive toys (water cannon),

Worth mentioning that Unite have deleted the bit of their constitution requiring their strikes to be within the law.

John Sewel, one of the Deputy Speakers in the Lords, has resigned after a video came to light of him allegedly snorting cocaine in the company of prostitutes whilst insulting a number of other politicians, including the PM, Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn.

I wonder if it was the latter of the three that was more damaging to him.

Genuinely horrid populist plan to remove all benefits from unprocessed asylum seekers, including those with children (!)

There was an entire cottage (pun intended) industry set up to shield the public from Ted Heath from the 1950's till his death.

The BBC has a little article up called 'Who Was Ted Heath' and it includes this photo in the context of the February 1974 election:

But it doesn't mention who the people in it are, which detracts from the meaning if you don't actually know. The man with the hat is Joe Gormley (NUM President) and the man with the glasses is Mick McGahey (NUM Vice President).

If any of those accusations are deemed true, then the scandal is truly massive; it really does seem that Savile opened the floodgates and a lot of birds are coming home to roost.

There's increasing evidence that there isn't anything in this one.

[Insert article about the Scottish Government banning the production of GM foods here]

The measured, responsible, and level-headed government of Scotland under the SNP hits it out of the ball park again with another fact-based measure!
