Farage out. Anyone want to start a pool for when Corbyn falls?

We could also start a pool for when Farage returns "due to popular demand".

Chilcott is out today. It doesn't conclude on the legality of the war, but is pretty scathing (surprise!) about the reasons to go to war in Iraq.

If Tony Blair is not going to be held to account for the Iraq War, then perhaps being hounded by it for years like this might be the next best thing.

Of course it will haunt him; anyone who has taken another human life, however justified, is generally haunted by it in some form.

He will probably believe he did the right thing up to the Pearly Gates, but i imagine even he has his moments of doubt.

You have a singularly optimistic vision of humanity.

Something of a dent in Angela Eagle's hopes of leading the Labour party, assuming that was still on the cards

In incredibly funny news, leaks from some Lib Dem higher ups suggest there was a serious movement after the Referendum to launch a coup against Tim the Hipster Christian and replace him with (wait for it) Nick Clegg.

Can you do a coup in a party small enough to fit in a minibus?

Also, since I've kind of bashed you in another thread today, let me say that the title you gave this thread is awesome. Makes me chuckle every time I see it.

I'm sure this question has been asked, but what is UKIP's future now that their sole mission is soon to be accomplished, and only notable face has resigned (again, for realz this time i swear)?

1. (Assuming Leadsom wins) Infiltrate the Tory grassroots to keep the party on the right.
2. Blame everything that goes wrong on foreigners.
3. Blame everything that goes wrong on Muslims.

Nick Clegg will be PM of a hung parliament by this time next year. I am willing to bet something entirely inconsequential on my prediction.

Why are those who have served at some point as Wales Secretaries getting screwed one way or the other?

It's a cursed cabinet seat I tell you.

And an almost certain snap election and Tory landslide if Corbyn survives

It isn't possible to call a snap election now. An early election is possible but there are tricky hoops to go through and May has repeatedly ruled out the idea of calling one. She might change her mind (who the hell knows anything this year) but there would be risks attached.
