I'm generally not a huge fan of invertebrates, but spiders are kind of cool.  Certain large flying insects creep me out more, and spiders eat many of them.

They suck on their prey and slowly kill them, they're all inherently poisonous (some are freakishly deadly), and the webs get in the way. Also some of them eat birds! HC!
