American Idol will be heading into it's 15th season this fall, and Fox announced that it would be the final season.

For some, American Idol will remembered as a statement of the worst impulses of reality TV (Votefortheworst.com), and for others, it will be remembered for it's star making power (Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Fantasia Barrino, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks, Phillip Phillips and, arguably Ryan Seacrest).
