"five drinks" in two hours is binge drinking?   Guess I'll have to vote yes.  I probably have at least five drinks on most nights, and it's not uncommon that it happens in a span of two hours.  Honestly it's not what I'd call "binge drinking" but by your definition I am a near-daily binge drinker.  In fact, by your definition most of the people in my family (although not my wife's) are binge drinkers.

5 drinks in 2 hours is binge drinking? That's pathetic.

I know right? It's almost as bad as when "being an alcoholic" is defined as "drinking to get drunk". I mean c'mon. We all know there's a difference between the 20 something partying his/her ass off and the 50-something guy at the bar silently pounding Jack & Coke's.

Being a 20-something from the Great Lakes, certainly the most alcoholic region of the country, it is a requirement by law.

So yes.

No, never did, never could to be honest. Never wanted to. My body could never absorb large amounts of alcohol. I do enjoy a nice wine buzz, though.

However, what the government considers "heavy drinking" is like three glasses of wine a day or something. I think we're all "heavy drinkers," then. Tongue

If it's cognac or something, you're welcome to my share. Tongue Ugh.

I've put down a bottle of wine before on my own, the most might have been a bottle and a half of Chianti Classico over dinner, and man, did I pay for that. When I finally hit the bed I think I was out for about 10-12 hours, but with no other residual effects. Matter of fact, I felt very rested.

Right now, Pratale Chianti is $40 for $11. If you like Chianti, grab a couple! (It's a Chairman's Select).

I'm always mellow, but yes, I mellow more.  When I was younger I got angry.  No more.  Just sleepy and relaxed.
