Interestingly enough, the poll numbers stay about the same in the GOP race when Jones breaks out the Republican voters: Bush stays at 13 percent support while Rand gains a point to 14 percent support.

While Clinton gets 63 percent support among Idaho Democrats, showing that at least this far out in the Democratic Party primary she has locked up Idaho in the Democratic presidential nomination – which, admittedly, is a very red state that she basically has no chance of winning in 2016 general election.

...

Survey conducted April 22-30, 2015. 606 Idaho residents. Margin of error +/- 3.98%

A 1 point lead for Paul.  I think this is the first poll of any state in which he's been alone in first place since September.

Hillary will put Idaho into play when she selects Former Congressman Walter "Walt" Minnick to be her running mate.

This poll was conducted mostly before he announced. I wouldn't take that much stock in it.

At least they didn't poll Warren.

Total sample of ID voters was 600.

Which means Republicans make up ca. 300 and Democrats ca. 100-150 (unless they did oversamples). That further means the GOP primary has a 6% MoE and the DEM one a 8-10% MoE.

Tells you everything ...

So you're telling me that Jim Webb could actually have 16% of Idaho Democrats? You're making my night, Tender.

Eraserhead, thank you for not putting Democrat in quotes unlike the other discriminatory posters around here; it really means a lot Purple heart

I would figure the tiny base of Democrats in ID is ski bums in resort towns and a few latte Liberals in Boise.

True, but there also some "Blue Dog" (for lack of a better term)  type Democrats in Idaho, especially considering how white the state is, and that over 30% of its population is rural...
