The whole talking about someone as if behind their backs even though they might show up at any minute and read it aspect is depressing,  but otherwise its a pretty good place.

Agreed for the most part. Not that I'm not talking a lot of sh!t about people on Atlas, but nothing that I'm not openly saying here already of course.

Quoting posts from people who have been banned here is worth 10 death points, per Nym90.

But how can you prove it's from a banned poster unless I say so? (Which I didn't.)

Does this mean linking to threads there where banned posters here have posted is also not allowed?

Also I bet I could collect three random posts on a certain topic there, two from non-banned posters, one from a banned one, and no one could tell the difference without checking the forum. And once again, does this mean that linking to any thread there where any banned poster here has posted is infractable? Because that's an extreme slippery slope. Even Democratic Underground doesn't have rules that Orwellian.
