Bastards seceded from Pennsylvania so they could keep slavery.
That's a great line of propaganda, but slavery wasn't gradually abolished in Pennsylvania until 1780- and Delaware broke ties with Pennsylvania and England in 1776 as part of the Revolutionary War.

So unless you're telling me someone had a time machine, that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Also, Delaware didn't "secede". They were co-equal partners. It's not like the South in the Union, it's like (for lack of a better comparison) the United Kingdom.

Crack open a history book.

It wasn't, but abolitionists were quickly gaining traction in Pennsylvania.

How quickly?  Delaware split from Pennsylvania in 1701, and had its own legislature.  They shared a Governor until 1776.  Are you suggesting that growing abolitionist sentiment prior to 1701 was the impetus for Delaware's petition to be its own colony?

There was strongly growing antislavery sentiment around 1700, but it was still common among the influential families and no one would have thought slavery was in immediate danger.  Pennsylvania tried to place prohibitive tariffs on slave importation in 1712, but Britain wouldn't allow it.
