I doubt, after the laughable failures of 2014; very few oligarchs will bother using their cash to target incumbents.

I thought Sessions was an anti-establishment conservative. I don't get it.

He's the chair of the House Rules Committee. He was head of the NRCC. He's establishment by definition, as in, someone who holds those positions cannot be outside of the establishment.

Well, Sessions may be establishment, but he is VERY conservative. So, it's difficult to be substantially "more right" then he is. Then - what sense?

That does make sense in my head.

He holds any position of influence beyond "Congressman", therefore he's a RINO establishment liberal.

They got 36% last time, they probably won't even get that this time.

He's been involved in Republican politics since before Republicans had a monopoly on elected office in this state. He made a number of failed runs against Democratic incumbents before finally getting elected to Congress. He's basically a shill for AT&T and Big Oil, as one would expect a Dallas-area Republican to be. He's as Establishment as they come.
