(due to less candidates, I decided to change the voting period to 4 days)

Who should Hillary Clinton pick as her VP? Every 4 days the candidates with the lowest votes will be removed. The first candidate to 50% wins. In this round, you can vote for up to 2 candidates. You can always change your vote before the poll ends.

Results from last week: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=212600.0

Advanced:
Tim Kaine (VA)        (21.5%)
Martin Heinrich (NM)     (18.5%)
Julian Castro (TX)    (16.2%)
Michael Bennet (CO)     (11.5%)
Sherrod Brown (OH)    (11.5%)

Eliminated:
Mark Warner (VA)     (10.8%)
John Hickenlooper (CO)    (10%)

Kaine and Bennet will be my picks. While Brown or Heinrich would be good choices too, the Republican governors of their states would appoint one of their own to replace them, so that rules them out for me. Castro might be a good pick, but he's still a little too untested in my opinion.

I don't really like much of the options other than Kaine at this point, though I chose Bennet because Colorado doesn't seem Hillary friendly.

Brown makes sense at the surface, but he and Hillary would not work well together. Castro is going to get hit hard for inexperience.

Kaine or Bennett. Both would strengthen the Democratic ticket and bring some balance.

Ugh, just Kaine. The rest are horrible with Hickenlooper and Warner gone.

Sherrod Brown is really the best choice out of all these.

It's a hard choice between Brown, Heinrich, and Castro, but I ended up choosing Brown and Heinrich.

Tim Kaine of course; he is an experienced man who brings balance to the ticket; and, of course, delivers Virginia. He won two statewide elections there.

The Warren/Dean wing will want Kaine; he's fairly liberal and won't embarrass Hillary. The only thing people will criticize Kaine for is his eyebrows, in 2008, if Obama had picked Kaine, some would have made fun.

Kaine would not appeal to that wing of the party at all. He's basically generic D.

Actually, three.

Lieutenant Governor, 2001.
Governor, 2005.
Senate, 2012.

But yes, I think he's the strongest pick for Vice President.
