I wonder if Feingold knew that being the only Senator to vote against the PATRIOT Act would lead to unparalleled popularity on Atlas Forum.

I'm sure that's why he did it.

I can see myself endorsing Feingold.
This will more than likely be a state that will flip to the Democrats in 2016.

Huff Post list these main factors as advantages to a Feingold win :
1.) Democratic turnout tends to spike in presidential election years.
2.) Recent polls have underscored that Johnson is one of the most vulnerable sitting GOP senators.
3.) My personal factor: The wacky Tea Party movement is now in decline compared to years past (Sen. Ron Johnson R-Wis., defeated Feingold during the tea party wave of 2010).

Here is some recent poll information:
A Marquette Law School poll released in mid-April found Feingold leading Johnson by 16 points in a hypothetical match-up, and a March poll by Public Policy Polling found Feingold ahead of Johnson by 9 points.

Entertaining in what way?  Feingold will destroy Johnson.

No one destroys in Wisconsin. Either candidate is guaranteed 43-45% of the vote. What is entertaining is the issues they will bring up and how Feingold might re-mold himself so he's not the candidate that lost 5 years ago.

For me, since this is looking to be the most 'national security' orientated race since 2004 (at least for Republicans), the positions Johnson and Feingold bring to the table will ultimately decide my vote (I already know their economic stances). I'm not planning to vote libertarian or someone else in this race.

Feingold is such a great candidate I'd almost be willing to put WI for "likely dem" for the Senate race...

Let's hope that Waukesha County doesn't "find" any votes that save Johnson.

Impossible! Only liberal counties like Cook are capable of the voter fraud.

Can we not invoke the name of the based god for this nonsense?

No surprise. I'll go out on a limb here: If Johnson survives, the Senate will stay Republican and Democrats will probably lose the presidency, too. This race is a must-win for Democrats.
Yes.

Haha. Worth noting that Ron Johnson did better than Pat Toomey and Roy Blunt. No one would have predicted this in 2014 and 2015.

In retrospect, it's a shame this wasn't announced in 2012.

Would rather have seen Baldwin fall than Feingold not come back.
