No, but if I were her, it'd push me to reconsider. There could not possibly be better illustration than this of how a president will always have more influence than any one Senator. As long as she's taken herself out of contention, the one sitting in that chair will be able to insult her with impunity.

I don't think so. It may push her to support Bernie Sanders if Hillary comes out in favor of it though.

The difference is that Warren would have a real (if small) shot at the nomination whereas Sanders does not.

I don't think so, either.  Lizzy Warren is more aligned with Sanders than Clinton in the first place, so I think she would have supported Sanders in the primary even before Clinton laid into her.  This only reinforces that.

The question is will she support Clinton in the GE or will she stay home out of protest that Clinton is too moderate?

What? Clinton didn't lay into her, Obama did. This is not about Clinton, it's about her being insulted and finally realizing that despite everything she's done, she's really powerless in the Senate on the ultimate, big questions.

I stand corrected.  I guess I should read the news a little closer, haha!

Warren has been one of Clinton's biggest supporters and will continue to do so throughout 2016.

No way. Warren enthusiastically endorsed Schumer for senate leader, and raised money and stumped for moderate democrats like Landrieu and and Grimes in the midterms. These are all people to Hillary's right. Warren may be vocal about her pet causes, but she's still a party hack at the end of the day. She will throw her full support behind Hillary.

I'd love to see Clinton give her a good thrashing if she does.

It's more likely to push her to return to academia in 2018 than to push her to run for President. She dislikes politics, always has.

She's awfully adept at it for not liking it at all.

Sanders has some chance, which is more than Warren has seeing as Sanders is running and Warren has ruled it out.

She's won one election, narrowly in a safe state, and has spent the first half of her tenure mainly talking about her one real issue of interest - banking policy and economics.

It makes sense that the only position she really wanted at first was a regulator appointment. She's never come off like someone comfortable with campaigning.

No, although I increasingly think she should, however hopeless her campaign would be.

I think reamed is a bit of a strong word for what happened, in any event.

I don't think Elizabeth Warren wants to be president. I think the notion of being president doesn't appeal to everyone who is ever mentioned in speculation of who may/will run.

Hopefully!  She'd get shellacked in the General.
