one of the surprises for me was the sheer margin by which Galloway lost (about 28 points).  Shah nearly netted a majority.  but let's pretend it's up to us.

Naz Shah has an unusual biography for... well... anyone... let alone a politician.

I would've grit my teeth, held my nose, and tactically voted Labour.

Labour.

Actually, that biography would make an interesting movie.

The defeated Lib Dem (David Ward) in Bradford East is arguably even more despicable than Galloway. But of course no one cares about him as he doesn't appear on reality TV shows and at U.S. Senate hearings and the like.

I would have voted for her tactically too, but rather enthusiastically. She has a compelling bio, and I admire her courage and grit.
