Howard Dean up until late 2003, when I began to have doubts, initially I really warmed to him for his solid record in Vermont his decade of experience and history as a bipartisan and pragmatic moderate, if socially liberal... but his pandering to the left just got to the piont where he was compromising his credibility IMHO.

I then moved to support Clark, then Edwards and finally Kerry, largely through mindless tribalism… tis a wonderful thing Cheesy

Edwards, though I voted for Kerry in the Michigan caucus because it was obvious by then that he'd win the nomination.

For a brief amount of time I supported Joe Lieberamn...but I decided not to waste my time because he had no chance of winning.

That's unfortunate, too, because he would have been an excellent nominee and President.

In the early stages I was ambivalent, but ended up supporting Kerry.

Yeah I know. I don't know why people give Lieberman so much hell. He thinks independently, has a clean senate record, and probably would have spent more time coming up with solutions and less time blaming everything on Bush and hoping that the people buy it.

But noooo...god forbid the Dems nominate someone who could actually win.

Clark, until he dropped out, and then Kerry.
