The GOP needs qualified non-whites on their national ticket, and Jindal is a good pick here.  He's not as good a CANDIDATE as, say Rubio, or even Cruz, but he's got real qualifications and a resume that makes him, at a minimum, a viable VP pick.  I can't imagine Jindal as the nominee, but as VP, he offers quite a lot, including credibility that Rubio, Cruz, Tim Scott, or Susana Martinez don't quite bring to the ticket.
