What is the deal with Hartland? Romney did better there than Bush I in '88! The last few elections its been like a little piece of Oklahoma or Forsyth County right here in CT.
Most people complain about carpetbaggers but thank God for the New York weekenders voting in western Litchfield County, where their vote can make a difference, rather than NYC. Its too bad the political stain of The Valley now stretches from Winsted to Shelton though. I don't know if its because of social conservatism or just relative poverty compared to the Gold Coast.
