They were both major figures last year and now they are just background senators. I mean Cotton has taken is place as the fourth amigo, and Ernst is making herself a national figure. Capito, Rounds, and Daines I knew wouldn't be extraordinary, but I did expect the two I titled this after to.

Not sure about Gardner, but I'm sure Tillis has been hard at work continuing to subvert the interests of his constituents.

Tillis is probably laying low to get his unfavorables to go down.

Ernst is trying to position herself for the future (GOP rebuttal, Iowa BBQ's with Presidential candidates)

Cotton is throwing darts at the wall of history and seeing what sticks.

I think Capito is trying to take the reigns on some energy issues.

Gardner is a useless nobody, as expected, and won't make it through his 2020 reelection.

Daines, Rounds, Cassidy were all expected to be pretty low profile Senators. With seniority they all have the potential to be more prominent when newer classes enter the Senate.

The most notable thing from Tillis' tenure so far was that bit about employees not needing to wash their hands.

Golly, the fuming from Democratic posters over Mark Udall's embarassing defeat is amusing!

And Gardner is laying low for his inevitable re-election in 2020.

America's greatest Republican Senator joined with America's greatest Democratic Senator just today to introduce legislation to legalize therapeutic hemp oil.
And calling out the Armenian genocide for what it is was a nice touch.

He's a lock for re-election especially with Hillary (or as a dreamer, Rand Paul...either way) running for re-election the same year.

Good, if I had to chose between the two, I'd say we'd all rather Tillis lose Smiley

I do. It would have been better if both Udalls stayed around for the bigger picture. This is why I am supporting Feingold, as well as Wyden's reelection bid. I am saying, as a collective, that the salt is hilarious.

I fail to see how a Republican who wins by only two points during a Republican wave has an "inevitable re-election."

One could say he's replaced Joe Lieberman or was it Ayotte who replaced Lieberman?

Lining their pockets and building relationships with lobbyists so they'll find a nice, comfortable home after they lose their Senate races in 2020.
