How do you evaluate the teams that you've never watched before?  I'm sure the 65' Celtics and 70s Lakers were good.  I've never seen them play an entire game on TV.

I'm pretty sure that the 14-15 Spurs have been eliminated from contention. They might not do much in the Finals. Wink

2014 Spurs would take down 2008 celtics in 6

The Spurs probably were the best passing team since the 1980s

Spurs had a tougher road to title then Boston

Dallas>>> Atlanta
Blazers> Cavs
Thunder< Pistons
Heat< Lakers

Spurs were 12 man deep that year the Celtics were 8-9 men deep(Starters except perkings, House, Posey, Brown)

Spurs won by much bigger margins

1. 85-86 Celtics (won in a much tougher league than the 95-96 Bulls, deeper roster)
2. 95-96 Bulls (diluted league, struggled in the Finals against Seattle)
3. 86-87 Lakers (Magic said this was his best team, end of discussion)
4. 00-01 Lakers (Shaq and Kobe at their peaks, dominated the playoffs)
5. 62-63 Celtics (placeholder for all the Celtics teams from the '60s)
6. 04-05 Spurs (Duncan at his peak)
7. 82-83 76ers ('fo fo fo)
8. 92-93 Bulls (apex Jordan)
9. 71-72 Lakers (severely diluted league)
10. 70-71 Bucks (see above)

04-05 Spurs would lose to the 2013-14 version who basically were much deeper, much much much better offensively while the 04-05 Spurs are just a little better then the 2013-14 Spurs defensively. 1990-91 Jordan was better more hungrier and that Bulls team thoroughly dominated tougher competition.

1991 New York> 1993 Atlanta
1991 Boston> 1993 Clevelend
1991 Detroit> 1993 Knicks
1991 Lakers< 1993 Suns

This makes sense. the prior lists were too light on the Bulls golden age.
