Here's the Golden state, now who's the most Golden senator?

Wow, I didn't realize how... mediocre California's modern Senators were.

Something like this, but Kuchel was pretty good.

I'm not fond of Boxer or (especially Feinstein). They've been in office my whole life. The only thing that I know about Hayakawa as a senator (as opposed to his SF State career) is his quote about Panama: "We stole it fair and square." It's not that great of a sentiment, but it makes me chuckle every time I hear it. Hayakawa it is.

I've lived in CA my whole life; I'm kinda sad that I only really know three senators. Pete Wilson was governor when I was little, but I have no recollection of him then.

Voted Wilson because he was the best politically, but I love George Murphy, so he gets my vote for second.

There should be more senators as interesting and original as Hayakawa.
