Horrible Decision. Warren is actually my preferred Democrat and I enjoyed her book on bankruptcy. Plus, of the alt-left candidates, she is the only one that is a) remotely electable and b) has a hope in hell of passing anything.

Freedom Decision, let her gain a bit more experience in the Senate so she can play more hardball.

If she refused 2020 (assuming Hillary loses), that'd be different.

To be honest, she'd have more influence in say, three terms as senator than in a failed run for president. So freedom decision.

She's a policy wonk so not really suitable as a presidential contender.

Exactly. My guess is she'd fall apart very quickly as a Presidential contender, because it's pretty clear she doesn't have much interest in foreign policy and social policy. She knows this, and is staying where she's most effective.

She's fake but slightly more sincere than Hillary. Still a horrible candidacy.

Freedom Decision, we need more people like her in the senate. I'm more pissed at the Draft Warren crowd for making there movement about one person instead of just trying to find anybody to the left of Hillary.

I would be inclined to say Freedom Decision, but now Sanders is in, I'm not so sure.  She could help split the Occupy/socialist vote.

Yeah whatever. Bill Clinton didn't enter the race until October 1991!

Well, look, it's a draft warren crusader (who actually likes Warren, not one (like myself) who just wants her to win the primary so Kasich/Bush can easily win the general) infiltrating Atlas.....

Barack Obama was also way too liberal against the more electable Hillary Clinton. That's why President John McCain exists.

Oh wait, Obama was a total politician and did fine in the general election. And so is Elizabeth Warren. If Warren ran, it would be the EXACT SAME GAME.

I got a little depressed from her not running Tongue. She has good ideas, but after seeing Sanders's portfolio, and his ideas, I feel that he is better suited to be the next President.

Any angst about Obama's electability in 2007/8 was based on his background, race and inexperience. There wasn't any wide-spread concern that he was too leftist for a general electorate. Obama ran as a post-partisan uniter. It was only his fans that projected he was a liberal messiah, because they wanted to stick it to the warmongering DINO Hillary.

If there's any ideological comparison between Warren and a 2008 candidate, it's pre-scandal John Edwards. But he had southern populist appeal (in a year any Democrat would have won). Warren is too easily caricatured as another Massachusetts elitist. We all know how that turns out.

Yeah, compare Obama and Clinton's 2008 policy proposals.  They were almost exactly the same, often point by point the same.
