I'll dip into a non-fiction from time to time, but usually it's fiction.

I'm sorely tempted to start the Discworld series again, now that it's... um... complete.  Sad

Non-fiction, actually. I do enjoy fiction, but I usually prefer it in other mediums (e.g. I'm more likely to watch an anime of something than read the manga of it), so when I read it's typically for informational purposes.

Read: Non-fiction
Watch: Fiction. I mean I'll watch movies/tv shows based on true stories, but I don't care much for documentaries.

Non-fiction, but there are certain kinds of fiction that I do enjoy, like I enjoyed the Dan Brown novels and things like that. I've also always enjoyed Hunter S. Thompson, so whatever that is - I guess it's a little bit of both.

I find nonfiction easier to digest but fiction more rewarding. I wouldn't say I have an overall preference.

So far, I've mostly read essays, though I'm trying to change that.

Non-fiction, given my distractibility.  With fiction I often forget what happened if I put down a book for a few weeks.  With non-fiction I can more often incorporate what I'm reading into what I already know about a setting or period which makes it easier to remember and come back to.

I tend to buy non-fiction more, but I recently had to sell or give away about 1/3 of the books I owned because I had over 450 and there just wasn't room for them all in this new place.
