Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity are the perfect examples of the first.

On the left:  Bill Maher
On the right:  Bill O'Reilly

This, seriously. Dick vs Dick!

Bill O'Reilly has really gotten up there as in jerkishness over the years. He talks over everyone and thinks he knows whats right for everyone. Bill Maher just insults anyone that disagrees with him.
Bill O'Reilly is the only one in the industry that can somehow get away with cutting off people's mics he doesn't agree with. It's the ultimate dick move.

Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Lawrence O'Donnell, just about every member of the WH Press Pool, etc.
Jon Stewart isn't a journalist, he's a comedian, so he basically is paid to be a dick as it is pretty funny.

So is Bill Maher for the same rational.
I agree with that, but I am not saying Bill Maher is a journalist or even a political commentator. He's a comedian, and has no expertise in political science or related fields, so his analysis isn't serious.
