This bill will allow anyone with a terminal illness to be released from prisons in the Northeast under compassionate grounds. We shouldn't be paying to keep someone in prison until they rot into the ground - the prisoner should be able to live their last few days with their families.

To ensure that no-one re-commits crimes following compassionate release, the local police force will visit the released person every two weeks.
