I personally fall between center-right and right. Closer to right by a hair, though. Typically vote center-right.

My ideology opposes Barry Goldwater, if he is considered conservative despite some pretty leftist social stances...

Then that therefore makes me a Leftist in spite of some of the more conservative social positions.

I'm on the Right, but I think your statement, Potus2036, fits me well, too. I have clearly defined conservative positions, but I am pragmatic on a good amount of issues.

If I am comparing myself to America as a whole...

Fiscally centre-left, socially right. Averages to centre-right.

My ideology emulates Barry Goldwater, though I have warmed to the pro-life side recently. Tongue

This is the exact reason why parenthesis should be banned on this forum, LOL.

Support Raising the minimum wage, support universal healthcare, support free four year college. That's apparently far-left, but I think of my self as Left, so Left. I think it is dumb that we argue about SSM, Abortion Rights, and Women's Right to equal pay, but hey. I'm a communist fascist Nazi liberal, intent on making America the weakest nation of all.

Isn't this relative to where you live? In America I guess I'd be a far left extremist nutjob.
