Freedom Fighter. I'm not too familiar with his music (I just heard Thunder Road yesterday after all), but I know that he's a liberal, and he's attacked American jingoism and nationalism.

Wow. I immediately expected an HP vote from you. Glad to see you recognize his genius. I imagine you'd love Born in the USA.

Obvious FF though (Jersey born, Freehold raised)

He also does a ton for indie acts and is a massive supporter of Jason Isbell. He's genuinely the greatest.

How did you make it through 31+ years of life without hearing "Thunder Road"?

One of the best musicians of the 1980's...

If you loved "Born in the U.S.A", you'll probably love "The Rising", Springsteen's response to 9/11/...and used by both John Edwards and Barack Obama during the 2008 Presidential Campaign.

I understand that but it's basically one the most well-known rock songs ever made.

FF of course. And BRTD is an HP for not having heard Thunder Road until yesterday. Sorry man, but that is an epic fail.

Terrible. A cheap knock-off version of Bob Dylan. I admit to liking "Born To Run," but that is about all.

One would hope that is enough said, but...

One of the best musicians of the 1980's...

If you loved "Born in the U.S.A", you'll probably love "The Rising", Springsteen's response to 9/11/...and used by both John Edwards and Barack Obama during the 2008 Presidential Campaign.

Epic FF.

Love his stuff, love '80s music, etc.

Springsteen is a '70s musician.

Elton John, John Denver, Harry Chapin, Billy Joel, Peter, Paul and Mary, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan. Stuff like that.

In other words, massively better taste than you?

Do you know how much I hate that you're making me agree with Snowstalker, BRTD?

Terrible. A cheap knock-off version of Bob Dylan. I admit to liking "Born To Run," but that is about all.

Congratulations on being BRTD-level wrong when it comes to music.  This is incredibly disappointing.

Clearly y'all need to listen to Bruce's best album and stop being so goddamn wrong.
