Democratic- Easily Henry Wallace, as he would have sold Europe out to the Soviets, appeased them throught , never started the Cold War(Which eventually destroyed the 2nd most evil empire in modern history the Soviets), was a communist sympathizer, and would have let communists take over Korea , and wouldnt try to contain them.

Republican- Dick Cheny as he would invade the entire middle east

Worst as in "they would have been crap at the job" or worst as in "they would have pursued policies that I disagree with"?

If the former:

Democratic - Henry Wallace
Republican - Dan Quayle

If the latter:

Democratic - John Nance Garner
Republican - Dick Cheney

Democrats: Lyndon B. Johnson
Republicans: Richard M. Nixon

This is the obvious correct answer, assuming they count.
