Robeson County. While it has a rich and fascinating history, I can’t fathom living there. I visited it and it felt so vacant and tedious.

I already went to Chapel Hill for university and am currently in Raleigh for work.

The correct answer will always be the Charlotte area, which is where I grew up. The research triangle ain’t for me.

What's your favourite wine region?

Where in England have you been?

How would you have voted in the Brexit referendum?

opinion of this quote

Quote
The conservatives are fools: They whine about the decay of traditional values, yet they enthusiastically support technological progress and economic growth. Apparently it never occurs to them that you can’t make rapid, drastic changes in the technology and the economy of a society without causing rapid changes in all other aspects of the society as well, and that such rapid changes inevitably break down traditional values.

- That's a tough one. Maybe 1960? (no LBJ presidency)

- Dole.

- Larry Johnson, but I was always impartial to prime CP3.

I vehemently disagree with his politics, but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't find his debates/feud with Buckley entertaining. I have never read any of his novels, however (so far).

My favorite wine region is Virginia, because I was born there.

I've been nearly everywhere in England- the Eastern bit, the Midlands, Yorkshire, London, the Southwest (Cornwall!), the eastern bit near Scotland. I don't think I've been to the Northwest? (maybe when I was little).

Yes to leave the EU.

I find the concept that traditional values are naturally doomed to break down due to technological advances or especially "economic growth" rather imprudent.

The reason why traditional values are breaking down is due to societal decay, and I don't think that it is intentionally engineered by the elites. I think it's a decline from a lack of belief in God and rising nihilism, which isn't completely correlated to human progress.

Have you been to Wales or the M4/M5 area?  My patch in other words.

If you had to live in a Biden county within a Biden state, which would you choose?

Orange County, California. As much as I would abhor living in California generally due to the insane house prices alone (ignoring the politics), you can't deny that Southern California is the most beautiful place on earth.

I also love Flagstaff, and I'm pretty sure it's in a Biden County, though I forgot what the county is called. And Colorado is beautiful too, but I can't think of any specific county.

Oh yes! I have very distant family from my mother's side there.

- Favorite popular movie series

- Favorite Star Wars movie

- Favorite Super Hero

- Obviously the Fast and Furious Franchise (kidding). Seriously, I'd have to go with The Godfather movies (I never saw the third which looks cheesy, so only the first two) the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (I will pretend that the bloated Hobbit films don't exist) or maybe the Dollars Trilogy, I suppose?

- The Empire Strikes Back is probably the only Star Wars movie I can legitimately call a quality movie on its own merits for reasons other than nostalgia or it being iconic or something.

(Sure, Episode 4 is iconic and I will admit that the Revenge of the Sith and even the one with Ewoks are guilty pleasures, but Empire is the only one that is legitimately actually a truly exceptional piece of storytelling, so by default it's that one.)

- I liked Sam Raimi's Spider Man and Nolan's Batman as a child, so by default it is Spiderman and Batman. I also kind of liked RDJ's Iron Man, but Spiderman and Batman were my favorites as a kid.
